UPDATE – July 30, 2026

Archer continues to be such a sweet, happy little boy, and it's been wonderful watching his personality become more consistent each week. He has settled into a nice balance of confidence and curiosity, happily exploring new situations while still enjoying plenty of attention and affection.

One of my favorite things about Archer is his expressive face and those beautiful blue eyes. Combined with his larger ears and sturdy build, he has a look that's completely his own. As he continues to mature, his coat will come back, and we can't wait to see  what a handsome adult he'll grow into.

This week, Archer met a prospective family, but in the end they decided he wasn't the right fit. While that's always a little disappointing, I truly believe every puppy has the right family waiting for them. Finding the perfect match has always been more important to me than simply finding the fastest placement, so Archer will continue waiting for the people who are meant to call him family.

For now, Archer remains a happy, playful little boy who loves exploring the world around him and is continuing to develop into a confident, affectionate companion. I'm excited to keep watching him grow and can't wait to see who falls in love with this special little guy.

UPDATE (July 16, 2026):

Archer has officially entered his wonderfully awkward teenage Pomeranian stage—and we couldn't adore him more.

His second ear has finally popped up, just as we hoped it would, leaving him with the funniest "satellite ears" and adorable little ear floofs that make him look like a tiny fox.

He's blown most of his puppy coat as his adult coat begins coming in, so don't let his current appearance fool you. Underneath the monkey stage is an incredibly sweet, happy little boy with beautiful blue eyes, a huge personality, and enough enthusiasm to brighten anyone's day.

Archer has completed his puppy vaccination series and won't need further vaccinations until he is a year old.

UPDATE (6/18/26):

Archer is still looking for his forever people. He has one floppy ear because they are basically like satellites (soooo big!) and a long tail that whips around all the time cuz he's just the happiest little dude. He has a big personality too, but he's only charting around 6 lbs... and he has blue in both his eyes. He has absolute doggie in the window vibes to us and we adore him. He's had all his vaccinations and all we need is a deposit with an approved application to go get his health certificate from our Vet. He has absolute doggie in the window vibes to us and we adore him. We know his future people will too, they just need to find him!

Update (3/20/26):

Archer is an orange sable merle boy… and yes — he has two blue eyes 💙

That merle patterning paired with blue eyes gives him a look that is both striking and hard to come by.
He’s already standing out in the best way, and he’s only just getting started.

Definitely one to watch as he grows.
