Puppy Purchase, Deposit & Payment Policy

Pepper's Pomeranians wants the reservation and purchase process to be as straightforward as possible. Please review the following policies before placing a deposit on a puppy.
Puppy Applications & Approval
Submitting an application or contacting Pepper's Pomeranians does not guarantee approval for placement or reserve a puppy.

I reserve the right to approve or decline a placement based on what I believe is appropriate for the puppy and the prospective home.

A puppy remains available until the required deposit has been received and the reservation has been confirmed by Pepper's Pomeranians.

A puppy remains available until the required deposit has been received and the reservation has been confirmed by Pepper's Pomeranians.
Deposits & Reservations
A deposit is required to reserve a specific puppy.
​
Once a deposit has been received and the reservation confirmed, that puppy will be considered reserved for the buyer and removed from active availability.
​
Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind, is unable to complete the purchase, or otherwise chooses not to move forward with the puppy.
​
If Pepper's Pomeranians is unable to provide the reserved puppy because of illness, death, or another circumstance on my end, the buyer may choose to:

Receive a refund of the deposit, or
-
Transfer the deposit toward a puppy from a future litter.

These are the same basic deposit provisions contained in the current sales contract.
Purchase Price & Final Payment
The puppy's purchase price will be disclosed before a deposit is accepted.

The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of the puppy.
​
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the buyer takes possession or ownership of the puppy.
​
Payment arrangements and applicable due dates will be provided to the buyer as part of the purchase process.
Pickup & Go-Home Dates
Puppies generally go home at approximately 10 weeks of age; however, the actual go-home date may vary depending on the individual puppy's development, health, veterinary clearance, size, or other circumstances. The existing contract also provides for a different date when mutually agreed upon.

The health and readiness of the puppy take priority over a projected pickup date.
​
Buyers should make pickup arrangements with Pepper's Pomeranians in advance.
​
If a buyer cannot pick up their puppy on the agreed date, additional boarding charges may apply. Any applicable boarding arrangements and fees will be communicated to the buyer.
Failure to Complete the Purchase
If a buyer does not complete the purchase or fails to make the required final payment within the agreed timeframe, the buyer may forfeit both the deposit and the reservation of the puppy.

Pepper's Pomeranians may then make the puppy available to another home. This reflects the forfeiture provision in the current sales contract.
Registration & Breeding Rights
Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, the terms of registration and any breeding rights or restrictions will be stated in the individual puppy's sales contract.

Payment of a deposit does not, by itself, grant breeding rights or guarantee full registration.
Health & Final Sale Agreement
Every puppy purchase is subject to Pepper's Pomeranians' written sales contract and health guarantee.
​
The sales contract contains additional terms regarding the puppy's health guarantee, veterinary examination, registration, care, rehoming, and other responsibilities of the buyer and seller.
​
Buyers will be given the opportunity to review and agree to the applicable sales contract as part of the purchase process.
​
If information on this website conflicts with the signed sales contract for a particular puppy, the signed sales contract will control to the extent permitted by law.
Estimated Adult Size & Other Predictions
Any estimated adult weight, coat characteristics, color development, temperament description, or other prediction provided for a puppy is an estimate based on the information available at the time.
Adult size and other developmental characteristics cannot be guaranteed. Your existing contract specifically states that adult-weight estimates are estimates rather than guarantees.
