A Little Less Fluff at Pepper's Pomeranians

If you've been waiting for a puppy from Pepper's Pomeranians, I have a little something different for you today.

We're downsizing.

No, we're not closing up shop or giving up on Pomeranians. We're simply making some changes around here, and that means it's time for a few of our older puppies and adults to find families of their own.

Some of these dogs have been with us for years. Others are youngsters still waiting for someone to fall in love with them. A couple have very strong opinions about how life should work, and at least one has made it his personal mission to test every fence, gate, and ounce of my patience.

I love them all, but I also know some would thrive with more individual attention than I can give them here. So, without further ado, let me introduce you to the crew.

Waylon — Has Anyone Seen the Off Switch?

If you're looking for a quiet little lap ornament, Waylon would like to respectfully decline the position.

This boy is HAPPY. He's energetic, affectionate, playful, and has plenty to say about just about everything. He loves attention, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is always ready for whatever excitement the day might bring.

And yes, I mentioned his energy twice. There's a reason.

Waylon is also racing toward that awkward Pomeranian teenage coat stage. The fluff may temporarily disappear, but the personality certainly won't.

Thriller — Nobody Told Him He's Supposed to Be Small

Thriller was already over eight pounds at just four and a half months old. Apparently, he missed the memo about being a little dog.

What I really love about Thriller is his temperament. He's quietly confident, curious, and has these wonderfully soft eyes that make him awfully hard to resist. He's a sweet boy who does beautifully with other dogs.

And like Waylon, he's preparing to enter the great Pomeranian teenage fluff disaster. At least there's more of him to love.

Archer — Our Not-So-Ugly Duckling

Archer has come a long way from his awkward puppy days!

Some of you might remember me posting about his ears, which seemed absolutely determined NOT to stand up. I even had people questioning whether he was really a purebred Pomeranian. I promise, he is. His ears just had other plans.

Between those floppy ears and his monkey-face stage, poor Archer went through a bit of an ugly duckling phase. But look at him now! His ears finally got their act together, his coat is filling back in, and he's turning into one handsome little guy.

He's a happy, playful boy who gets along great with other dogs, and those partially blue eyes make him even more distinctive.

Flower — The Little Girl I Almost Kept

Flower is one of those girls I originally had every intention of keeping.

She's small, absolutely gorgeous, and has a beautiful full coat. I held her back hoping she'd grow enough to become part of our breeding program, but with our decision to downsize, I've decided to let her find a family of her own.

She's a typical happy little Pom. Loving, energetic, outgoing, and always ready for attention. She's wonderful with the other dogs and has a whole lot of personality tucked into that tiny body.

Letting some of these girls go isn't necessarily easy, but I know Flower is going to make someone very happy.

Ophelia — Our Little Showgirl

Some of you might recognize where Ophelia got her name. She was born on October 3, 2025, the very day Taylor Swift released The Life of a Showgirl. There was really no question what we were going to call her.

Ophelia is another of our smaller girls, although she's a little more cautious than Flower. She's happy and sweet, but she likes to take a moment to figure things out before jumping in with all four paws.

She's also currently blowing her coat following her heat cycle, which means she's not exactly having her best hair day. Or month.

But that's life with Pomeranians. The coat comes and goes, and we love them through all their questionable fashion decisions.

Virgo — A Quiet Boy Ready for a Different Life

Virgo was raised here and has spent his life as part of our kennel.

He's always been a reserved boy, and he hasn't had the same experience living as someone's full-time household companion that some of our other dogs have. But he's kind, loving, and has a gentle nature.

I think Virgo could make a wonderful pet for someone willing to give him a little time to adjust. He doesn't need someone expecting him to walk into a new house and immediately know how everything works. He needs patience, kindness, and the opportunity to figure out what being someone's spoiled little house dog is all about.

Oh, and he hates baths. Just so we're clear.

Maple — Treats Are the Answer

Maple is a little cautious when she first meets someone new. When I brought her home, it took her a while to really open up to me. But once she did? Good grief, this girl loves her people.

She's affectionate, needy in the sweetest way, and would very much appreciate being somebody's favorite little companion.

And if you're wondering how to win her over, the answer is treats. Lots of treats.

Maple is one of those dogs who might not immediately throw herself into your arms, but give her a little time and she'll make sure you know you're loved.

Malakai — Five Pounds of Trouble

Where do I even begin with Malakai? This dog is a menace. A happy, loving, ridiculously affectionate, approximately five-pound menace, but a menace nonetheless.

Malakai is small, confident, outgoing, and absolutely determined to get where he wants to go. If there's a fence, gate, or enclosure between him and something he wants, he considers it a personal challenge.

He's also been responsible for more than his fair share of unauthorized romantic adventures around here. I love the little troublemaker, but I will not miss his extracurricular activities.

Underneath all that mischief, though, is an incredibly friendly boy who just wants to be close to his people. His new family will need to be mindful of his escape-artist tendencies, but if you appreciate a dog with a big personality and an even bigger capacity for affection, Malakai might be your guy.

Kruella — Snacks, Snuggles, and Things That Go Bump in the Night

Kruella is a talker. She has opinions, and she's not particularly interested in keeping them to herself.

She's happiest curled up on someone's lap, eating snacks, or having a good conversation about absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately, being left alone is not something she particularly enjoys. If she finds herself outside without her people or another dog for company, she'll happily bark at the wind, the darkness, a passing bee, or whatever other suspicious activity she believes requires immediate investigation. Basically, the world is a dangerous place, and Kruella would prefer not to face it alone.

She's always lived with other dogs and can become anxious when separated from them, so I'd really love to find her a home with another friendly dog and someone who can give her plenty of attention. She's a sweet, opinionated little girl who just needs someone willing to understand her quirks.

Teddy — The Original Pepper's Gentleman

Teddy is a little different from the others. He was our very first male here at Pepper's Pomeranians, and he's been with us for a very long time.

Truthfully, I probably should have found him a retirement home years ago. My feelings about retiring breeding dogs have changed over time, and I've come to believe that many of them deserve the chance to spend their later years being someone's beloved household companion.

Teddy is an older gentleman, a little set in his ways, and has always had a protective streak. He's also had some experiences that have made him cautious, so I won't be placing him just anywhere.

I think he'd be happiest in a quiet home without young children, preferably with a woman who understands that some dogs need a little extra patience and reassurance. He's also rather generously proportioned these days and could definitely use someone willing to help him shed a few pounds.

Teddy doesn't need a busy household or a whole lot of excitement. He needs somewhere safe, comfortable, and predictable, with someone who will appreciate him for the old fellow he is. Finding the right person for him matters enormously to me.

Gigi — Personal Space Is Overrated

Gigi originally left us for a home of her own, but when her family's housing situation changed, she came back. It happens. Sometimes life changes in ways people don't expect, and I'm glad we were able to welcome her back.

Gigi is a happy, confident, loving girl who has absolutely no intention of letting her favorite person out of sight. Ever.

She wants to know where you are, what you're doing, and whether she should be involved. She also takes her watchdog responsibilities very seriously and will greet you with considerable enthusiasm when you come home. She's got a stubborn streak, too, because apparently being adorable wasn't enough.

Gigi is already spayed, fully vetted, completely pee-pad trained, and has some house-training experience. She does have a few sensitivities we'll discuss with anyone seriously interested in her, but she's a wonderful little companion with a lot of love to give.

If you've ever wanted a fluffy supervisor who takes her job a little too seriously, Gigi is accepting applications.

Maybe Your Perfect Pom Isn't a Puppy

I know a lot of people come to us looking for a tiny puppy, and I completely understand that. But there's something pretty wonderful about bringing home an older puppy or adult dog, too.

You have a better idea of their personality. Some have already learned a thing or two about living with people. Others are ready to discover what being a spoiled family pet is all about.

All eleven of these Pomeranians are ready for their new homes. Teddy and Gigi are already fixed, and spay/neuter arrangements for the others will be discussed with interested families. Kruella in particular should be spayed promptly.

We're primarily looking for loving pet homes. I may consider breeding rights for Flower or Ophelia with an experienced, responsible breeder, but finding the right home is the priority.

I'm not simply trying to move dogs out the door. Some of these guys have been with me for years, and I know their personalities, quirks, and needs. I'll be happy to have an honest conversation about any of them so we can make sure they're going somewhere they'll thrive.

If one of these little characters catches your attention, take a look at https://www.pepperspoms.com/available-adults . And if you're not looking for a Pom yourself, sharing this post might help one of them find exactly the right person.

Thanks for being part of our Pepper's family.
