Pepper's Yellow Ledbetter - "Leddy"
Leddy was born second at 11:06 pm at 6.2oz. A bit smaller than his brother, she still needed help delivering as he was breech and she was tired already. The pushing required with these bigger pups takes its toll and she's used to quick labors. He's an orange sable parti and we are banking on a regular sable, not a wolf sable. We won't know without actual DNA testing but previous wolf sables have looked almost black at birth and he's clearly orange.

Pepper's Your Kisses Are Charity - "Charity"
Charity was born second at 12:29am (technically the 27th) at a whooping 8.1oz. For perspective, the biggest pup we've delivered is 7oz and its not been an easy task for Mama. She was also breech and we really had to help Phoenix here. Once we realized she was so big and quite clearly stuck, we were very afraid we'd lose her but we had to get her out of the birthing canal. Once she was out, she started gasping to our surprise and we got to work trying to get her airways clear and get her crying. We've been checking on her regularly and she's nursing fine and moving around. We were concerned about internal injury as we really did have to be a bit forceful but she seems fine. We will continue to watch her carefully over the coming days. Her coloring is black and tan with white markings.

Pepper's You Take It On The Run - "Runner"
Runner was born first at 10:00 pm at 6.6oz. We thought this would be the biggest puppy and the rest would be easier for her. How wrong we were!! He's a solid black with no white or tan on his coat. This is actually kind of rare for us, normally there's a bit of white or tan markings in our puppies coats.
